Rev-hang is a "feature" of turbo chargers. Shouldn't be an issue with a normally aspirated engine.

I have a question for you, I really shouldn’t even ask because you really shouldn’t be doing this install if you’re in fact “Not Chasing Gains”. If you’re “not chasing gains” then why is it that you’re installing a HVI in the first place? Why not just leave it completely stock? I mean stock is pro’s for the non gain chasing folk and cons for the people that chase gains all day. Why?

I have a 2019, 1.5 turbo hatchback and haven’t had any issues with oil leak or any issues since owning it. Only regular maintenance and oil change and also brakes change. I have the manual but maybe the cvt has more issues.

I just wish it had real gauges

You can tell this is already dated because Honda just announced that they're phasing out the L15 from the Civic, and every trim will have a K20 in some shape or form. About time if you ask me.

Honda should design a magnet built in to that plastic lower tray to collect any loose bolts ...it may save the owner some $ on buying new bolts🤑 sad state of Honda lately fwiw my 2010 Pilot has no issues at 150k -except a failed camshaft -which known MAJOR issue on some J35 engines

Drove me nuts. Related, did you fix the trunk leak, and if so, how? - Think you covered this, but sounds like the base '24 CR-V is a potential problem with the issues you discussed and as such overall reliability? I ask as a larger vehicle would fit my needs much better right now, and I like the changes they've made. I'm just torn as reliability is super important to me. Hope to hear from you. heads up Honda tech here , the rattle in the dash on the passenger side tends to be the washer bottle filler neck. they didn't put any foam padding under the neck where it clips in and used a pretty loose clip on a bunch of the civics. just from personal experiences in the dealer up here in Canada and dealing with a fair few noise complaints.

American cars are nicer than this now a days😮

My son has the 2019 Si and has all the modifications and bolt on parts except for a rear motor mount. I think he'd like this upgrade.

Great installation! The vibration is definitely something I lowkey miss from my dart. Its super smooth which is nice, but I do miss some of that feedback when driving.

Install on the 10th gen is exactly the same. You do not need to remove the front pipe on the 10th gen to install or remove the rear motor mount.

Lets see 6 inches of snow , cant say its good in the dnow till theres snow not a dusting!! Snow tires should be mandatory for any fwd/rwd car in winter but idc your getting stuckwhrn its higher than your rocker panels , its a sports car and not made for driving in the snow, can it be done sure but why not get a winter beater 4x4 or awd , im always helping people get unstuck or out of a ditch

What does the VIN say the country of origin is? If you got bolts falling out and quality issues I'd guess Mexico but it looks like Civic's come out of Ohio. Where's she from?

I have that motor mount and I hate it. I recently removed it because it vibrates my dash board too much when the a/c is on. It was installed for more than six months.

my 22 has no issues. great car. I have the hpd package, a ktuner, an rv6 downpipe, a prl intake, replaced the resonator and mufflers, lots of fun 2.0 6mt of course

Sometimes the rattling is the AC lines. They will sometimes tap against the frame of the vehicle, its normal.

Post covid, the economy went mad. I will never buy any car over MSRP. I was thinking about buying this exact car to replace my 2012 BMW. Unfortunately, the dealer in South FL wanted $34.5 for this base model. I won't play along , I'm keeping my car.🫤
